　　“明月几时有”，又是仲秋月临头；“把酒问青天”，牵挂亲人在心间。苏轼知密州所作之绝句，此刻又勾起了我们对您的思念。您曾在这里留下成长的足迹，播下希望，放飞理想；这里有您眷恋的故土，有您魂牵梦绕的亲人。您在外的拼搏与成就是家乡人的骄傲，您是我们青年一代学习的榜样。在家同欢、国共庆之时，中国共产主义青年团诸城市第十七次代表大会胜利召开。大会全体代表共同倡议，号召全市30万青少年积极参加“寄天南海北诸城青年骄子的一封信”活动。我们都是热血青年，志在四方，尤其关注并致力于家乡的发展与进步。我们想通过向40周岁以下、在外艰苦创业的诸城青年骄子发一封信，带去家乡的问候和敬意，与您重温家乡的历史，向您讲述今天的变化，并诚挚地邀请您为家乡的发展作出新的贡献。
　　或许，您已远离故土多年；或许，您求学经商创业刚到他乡。值此八月十五月正圆，让我们再聊叙一下家乡的悠悠渊源。她始名东武，汉高祖六年（前201），封郭蒙为东武侯。吕后七年（前181），置东武县，因有东武山故名。新莽天凤元年（14）， 改东武为祥善。淮阳王更始元年（23），复为东武。隋文帝开皇十八年（598），改东武县为诸城县，取县西三十里汉故诸县城为名。1987年，撤县建市。目前，辖3个街道、20个乡镇，总面积2183平方公里，人口105万。
　　家乡自古被誉为“文献之邦”、“礼仪之邦”，文宗诗伯，代不乏人，硕辅名臣，后先相望。早在春秋时期，孔子七十二贤弟子之一公冶长，博通书礼，终生治学不仕，为儒学传播而“立法开先，善规其后”。汉代，儒学大兴，著名经学家贡禹、师丹、伏湛、伏无忌，《易》学开创者梁丘贺等，均为当世名儒。宋代，著名画家张择端的《清明上河图》被誉为国宝神品，金石家赵明诚的《金石录》和词坛大家李清照的《漱玉集》，备受世人推崇。苏轼的《江城子·密州出猎》、《超然台记》等成为千古绝唱。明清两代，以丁耀亢、李澄中为代表的一代文坛巨子，开一邑之风雅。被誉为“浓墨宰相”的大书法家刘墉，不仅政治、文章名满天下，并且被推为一代书法家之冠。到了近代，家乡出了中共一大代表王尽美，在“五四”运动初期，他同王翔千、王统照等在家乡组织成立学生会、后援会，从而使新文化运动在诸城蓬勃兴起。进入30年代，文学家王统照、诗人臧克家、电影艺术家崔嵬、剧作家孟超、曲艺家陶钝等人的创作，又把诸城的文坛推向新的高峰。另外，人们熟知的康生、江青也是诸城人。
　　而今，文明、善良、勤劳、朴实的家乡人民，正乘改革东风，奋发进取，二十年风光无限。在农村，从改革开放之初的商品经济大合唱，到贸工农一体化，再到农业产业化、国际化，全市农业和农村经济发展走出了一条好路子。进入九十年代，企业大胆试验产权制度改革，推进到四扩一调，企业组织形式升级，市场化步伐逐步加快。近三年实施的为民服务联动工程，又得到了各级党委政府的充分肯定。近期，国家各大新闻媒体纷纷报道。党和国家领导人江泽民、李鹏、朱镕基、李岚清、吴官正、温家宝、曾庆红、吴仪等先后到诸城视察。这是诸城的骄傲，更是诸城人的自豪。
　　新世纪，新起点，新班子，新局面。今年以来，中共潍坊市委常委、诸城市委书记张江汀，市委副书记、市长刘德成同志带领新一届领导班子，运筹帷幄，大胆开拓，创造性地提出了利用五年时间再造一个新诸城的宏伟目标。在舜王街道以北、206国道两侧开辟了占地25平方公里的新区，实施城市北扩。目前，已规划建设中纺工业园、福田工业园和舜王民营经济园。同时，争取到了全国“十五”计划重点工程之一的胶新铁路途经诸城，现已准备动工，结束了家乡没有铁路的历史。还被国家建设部定为全国乡村城市化试点市，城镇化步伐进一步加快。福田、得利斯、外贸、桑莎、新郎、四达、开元、三工、泸河等一批骨干龙头企业，百舸争流，蒸蒸日上，日益隆起为全市经济的脊梁。自去年开展全民招商以来，全市完成招商引资项目523个，引进利用市外资金11518万美元。新的经济增长点如雨后春笋般涌出，发展潜力巨大，前景十分喜人。
　　家乡的成就，凝聚着您的支持；家乡的未来，仍需您的奉献。龙骨涧已不眠，她崛起了世界最大的鸭嘴龙，家乡成为国内外投资的热土；齐长城亦巍然，她铺就了家乡阔步前进的道路，正昂首走向新世纪。为将故乡建设得更加美丽富饶，期盼您不管身在何方，为其发展出力献策。您的每一点支持、关心和投入，都会带来家乡发展的新机遇。无论您采取什么方式，无论您通过什么途径，家乡都热烈地期待和欢迎您出一份力、尽一份心。方便之余，请将您的通讯地址、电话及有关情况回寄给活动办公室。我们将建立通讯簿，作为家乡的宝贵财富。期复为盼，静等佳音。

A Letter to Young Favourite Sons of Zhucheng

 All over the Country

Several bright moon occasionally, the Mid-Autum Festival moon befall. Fill a wine cup and ask the blue sky. Care for relatives in the heart. Jue Ju made in SuShi’s Mizhou cause our miss to you again at this moment. You have left the footprint of growing up here. Sow the seeds of hope and let the ideal fly away. Here is the native land where you are sentimentally attached to. There are relatives who your souls led to be with their hearts at. Your striving outside and achievements are country-fellow’s pride. You are a model to follow of our young generation. When celebrating together in this joyous occasion, the 17^th represetative assembly of Zhucheng of the Communist Youth League of China convened successfully. All representatives proposed at the conference that teenagers of the whole city participate in Sending a Letter Activity of Young Favourite Sons of Zhucheng all over the country actively. We, ardent youth, with our will here all sides, pay close attention to the thing especially and devote to the development and progress of hometown. We think of sending a letter to the young favourite sons under 40 of Zhucheng pioneering an enterprise with painstaking efforts outside. The letter takes the greeting and compliments of the hometown. Let’s review the history of the hometown and tell you the changes of the hometown. We hope that you can make new contribution for the development of the hometown in sincere invitation.

Perhaps, you have been far away from the native land for many years; you have just arrived at a new land for study or business. At the time of Mid-Atumn Day, let’s have a chat about the long oringin of the hometown again. Her original name is Dongwu. In 201 B.C. Guo Meng was named Dongwu Hou. In 181 B.C. the government put the Dongwu county, which was named after the Dongwu mountain. In 14 A.D. Dongwu was changed as Xiangshan. In 23 A.D. the city was named Dongwu again. In 598 , Dongwu was changed as Zhucheng county. It was so named as there was once an ancient city of Zhu in the west of the county in Han Dynasty. In 1987, the government dismissed the county and established the city. At present, the city of Zhucheng has jurisdiction over 3 residential districts, 20 villages and towns. It has an area of 2183 sq.   

Our hometown has been praised as the Nation Of The Document and A State Of Ceremonies since ancient time. Numerous writers and politicians emerges constantly. As far back as Chunqiu Period, one of the 72 virtuous disciples of Confucius, Gong Yechang, specialized in wide ranged knowledge. All through his life he didn’t take office in the government. He made the first good model for the spreading of confucianism.
